a different direction
This is the very first comic of the “New” Canned Ham. This Comic Strip appeared on Comic Genesis for a while in a different carnation. Ogden was quite Hairy then and had a human roommate named Lane. Now, he’s less hairy, he lives alone and rents out an extra room.
Here’s the story:
Ogden T. Monster was Spiffman Studios premire star. He appeared in over 500 movies, and even moved with the company when it’s half wit CEO Charlie Roslyn moved it from Hollywood to Lanwick. Ogden was fired when the company decided to go in a “different direction” he now lives in a 1 bed apartment which he rents from Mr. Taylor, while begrudging the world and trying to make ends meat.

[...] Well, It was a year ago today that Canned Ham began on Comic Genesis(and my how things have changed), so I decided that it was an event that deserved COLOR!!! We’ve gone through numorous character re-designs, site and host changes, and a marriage! Whew what a year. It’s been a great ride thus far and I’d like to thank everyone who has supported me and the crew here through our adventure. Please stick around and tell your friends as this is only the beginning. I thought this would be funnier than taking the usual, comic characters reflecting on the year that they’ve been in a comic strip that some take, I am not knocking that route, I just didn’t think it would work in the context. Ogden sometimes talks to the reader, but he never acknowledges the fact that he’s in a strip. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US! We hope you’ve enjoyed Canned Ham so far. Thanks for hanging out with us. [...]
